Varsity clinched the Skyland Conference Raritan Division title
Tim Maloney scored 21 points as the Montgomery High School boys basketball team clinched the Skyland Conference Raritan Division title with a 54-46 victory over Somerville on Tuesday night.
Maloney scored 15 points in the second half to help the Cougars (14-2) erase an 11-point deficit.
Justin Kovacevich netted 16 points for Montgomery, which has won 11 of its last 12. Teammate Kevin Johnson doled out 10 assists.
Randy Maroney scored 12 points for the Pioneers (9-5).
