Pritam Chinthakunta is honoring  Mrs. Valerie Kriger (English)

I chose to honor my 10th and 11th grade English Honors teacher, Ms. Kriger because of all the great times I had in her class. Having Ms. Kriger 2 years straight, I was able to share lots of memorable moments that I will carry with me in the future. English class used to be a class that I didn’t enjoy going to, but my perception changed after sophomore and junior year because of how fun the class environment was. I was able to improve on my writing and analytical skills tremendously, make new friends, and overall had great time with Ms. Kriger as my teacher.

Kevin Zhou is honoring  Mr. Jim Pendleton (Science)

I chose to honor my biology teacher Mr. Pendleton because of his support and belief in me throughout the class. The positive learning environment allowed me to build a passion for science. Without his class I wouldn’t have been able to discover a passion for the subject.

Pranav Jangamareddy is honoring  Mrs. Teena Jessu (Computer Science)

I chose to honor my 11th-grade Computer Science teacher, Ms. Jessu because of how much I was able to learn from her class. I plan to pursue a degree in computer science in college, and the things that Ms. Jessu was able to teach me will stick with me forever and help me in my future studies and career. Beyond just that, Ms. Jessu was always patient with me when I was struggling to understand some concepts and put me in the best situation to succeed. A class that I was originally very nervous about went more smoothly than I could have imagined, and I have Ms. Jessu to thank for that.
