Cougars win first round in state playoffs

Greg Tarca made five 3-pointers and scored 25 points to help Montgomery earn a 66-54 victory over Marlboro in the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament in Montgomery.

Justin Kovacevich and Chase Ta each chipped in 13 points in the Montgomery victory.
