Jack Mahoney was a man that epitomized class, dignity, and everything that this great town of Montgomery stands for. For all of us who had the pleasure of knowing Jack, they did not get more genuine than him. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend to all who had the pleasure of interacting with him. I don’t think that Montgomery High School, or Montgomery Athletics has ever, or will ever have a bigger fan than Jack. He was instrumental in the football, basketball, baseball, and softball recreation programs and he was one of the founding fathers of our Montgomery High School Cougar Football Program. Affectionately referred to as “the voice of the Cougars.”
