Montgomery 71, Phillipsburg 50 Senior forwards Greg Tarca and Justin Kovacevich scored 18 and 16 points respectively for the Cougars. Junior guard Chase Ta added 11 points and eight assists and junior guard Alex Miller scored 12 points.

Player of the Week Justin Kovacevich, Montgomery: The junior wing averaged 15.7 points in a 3-0 week, including 21 points in a 59-55 win over North Hunterdon and 12 points and eight rebounds in a 42-27 decision over Somerville.

Montgomery beat Immaculata 62-28 today in the Somerset County Tournament.
