Cougars roll with state win over Pirates

Justin Kovacevich scored 21 points and Greg Tarca added 18 to lead Montgomery over West Windsor South, 71-55, in the quarterfinal round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament in Skillman. Chase Ta registered 11 points as Montgomery took a 42-19 halftime lead and never looked back.

Greg Tarca made five 3-pointers and scored 25 points to help Montgomery earn a 66-54 victory over Marlboro in the first round of the Central Jersey, Group 4 tournament in Montgomery. Justin Kovacevich and Chase Ta each chipped in 13 points in the Montgomery victory.
